You have full control over your data. In accordance with Apple App Store Guidelines (5.1.1(v)), Google Play User Data Policies, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can delete your account and all associated feline records at any time.
How to Delete Your Account via the JustCat App (Instant)
The quickest and most secure way to delete your account is directly inside the JustCat mobile application:
Open App
Launch JustCat & ensure you are logged in.
Go to Profile
Tap the You tab in the bottom bar.
Tap Edit
Tap Edit next to your name and avatar.
Delete Account
Scroll to bottom, tap Delete Account, and confirm.

If you have uninstalled the app or lost access to your device, submit your registered mobile number below. Our privacy desk will verify your ownership and initiate account deletion.
What Happens When Your Account is Deleted
What is Immediately Removed:
- Login access is permanently revoked and session tokens expire.
- Your name, phone number, email, and avatar are wiped or anonymized.
- Your cat profiles, medical history cards, and vaccination photos are erased.
- Unconfirmed stay requests, bids, and chat drafts are deleted.
What is Retained Under Law:
- Financial transaction records & invoices for statutory taxation and GST audit compliance.
- Fraud prevention records and past closed dispute logs.
- Records needed to protect the counterparty in completed bookings.
Important Prerequisites Before Deletion:
- Active Bookings: You must complete or cancel any ongoing or upcoming cat boarding stays before deleting your account.
- Host Payouts: Verified hosts must wait for in-flight payout disbursements to reach their registered bank account before requesting deletion.
